Intuitive Role Playing Exercise with Feedback
Hi KW-ID
I would be very interested in this too.
I tried to recreate something similar myself. But I haven't achieve a natural flow of conversation and “natural” interaction like an AI conversation would.
What I did was to provide several possible answers in speech bubbles from which the learners could choose the correct one. If they chose the wrong bubble, I used AI Video (with Synthesia) to show a possible reaction from the customer. Additionally I gave direct feedback explaining why that answer was not optimal. Of course, you could also set this up as a branching scenario, but that will require more planning and resources.

I think this is a really nice in-between state to a more natural conversation like one that an AI chatbot might have. In some ways, I actually like this solution better than including a totally AI-driven example conversation in training because you are able to be so specific about what you want to highlight in each interaction.
I can definitely see how it's more effort to outline that decision tree with enough responses to make the conversation feel real, but I'm wondering if this isn't one of those places where what you would gain from using AI might have an equal tradeoff. What do you think?
