Intuitive Role Playing Exercise with Feedback
Hi Michael,
I’m very interested in learning how you accomplished this. That said, the vast majority of our learners access their learning paths in the field on mobile devices, and we export our Rise courses as SCORM packages to upload into our LMS.
Given those constraints, do you have any insight or recommendations?
Our ideal solution is what I shared yesterday, as it would allow a third party to handle most of the heavy lifting. That said, manually building these ourselves could still be worthwhile in the long run. Below is what I posted:
"I’m exploring AI‑powered, real‑time role‑play platforms that can be embedded directly into an Articulate Rise Multimedia Embed block and run within the Rise frame—without sending learners outside the course or requiring a separate login.
I’ve tested a few options, including Yoodli, but that experience redirects learners out of Rise. Other platforms I’ve reviewed are either cost‑prohibitive or not transparent with pricing.
Has anyone successfully integrated a truly seamless, experiential role‑play experience into Rise? I’d love to hear what you’ve tried, what’s come close, or where you hit barriers.
Thank you!"
Hey ELTE, I built this. Our platform (Zenobits) embeds via a standard iframe that works in Storyline's Web Object, and should work the same way in Rise's Multimedia Embed block since it's the same mechanism. No redirect, no separate login. The learner stays in the course.
I haven't tested the Rise mobile experience specifically, so I can't promise how it renders in the responsive layout on a phone. On desktop/tablet it works fine. SCORM completion passback is on the roadmap but not live yet.
If you want to test the Rise embed yourself, I can set you up with access - takes about 2 minutes.

Hi MichaelZ,
Thank you for the clarification. I now understand that Zenobits offers a platform similar to Yoodli. Initially, I had assumed these role plays were being built manually for your own courses, so I appreciate the additional context.
I am still interested in exploring this further. However, our primary requirements would be unlimited use for each role play and a streamlined, scalable way to create them. In my research, these capabilities are typically bundled into “Enterprise” plans, which are often cost‑prohibitive—or not transparently priced at all.
I do appreciate that your solution has been tested and works within both Rise and Storyline. At this point, the main factor determining whether we can continue the conversation would be a clear understanding of the cost.

Thanks ELTE - I appreciate the directness. Totally agree on the opaque pricing frustration, it's a pet peeve of mine too.
Quick answers to your two requirements:
- Scalable creation: The authoring platform is designed for exactly this. Most scenarios take 15-30 minutes to build, no coding or prompt engineering. You design the character and objectives, the AI handles the rest.
- Usage: We use a credit model rather than unlimited, you get a pool of minutes included with the project, and top up as needed. Transparent, pay-for-what-you-use, no enterprise plan gatekeeping.
Happy to share the full pricing breakdown over email rather than here. Drop me a line at michael@zenobits.co.uk and I'll send it straight over. Or if 15 minutes on a call is easier, happy to do that too.
