While that's a good idea for small, independent creators using their own licenses and hardware, in my situation, it doesn't get around company firewalls. Most larger companies I've worked for (and mostly medium-sized ones) have blocked user access to features like GoogleDrive for cybersecurity reasons, as well as for the very reason i'm trying to do it (ie loss of IP), as well as preventing loss of much more sensitive data.

You can select a handful of key slides or a specific interaction from the file, remove proprietary information (business-specific content, logos, etc.), and drop in lorem ipsum placeholder text. This will make the SL file plus a Word and web published output much easier to email to yourself. You're also not taking business-related content with you. Honestly, the most important thing I neglected to document in my early years of development is the summary of the project, audience size, business impact, etc. I've forgotten more projects than some folks have created and I'm still kicking myself for neglecting to document project details now.
