Worksheet Style Interactivity Within a Course?
Hi! As a maths teacher, I love this approach — getting learners to write out their thinking is so much more valuable than yet another multiple-choice quiz. In Storyline, I have had good results with freeform text-entry fields combined with a model-answer reveal: the learner types their reflection, clicks a button, and then sees an example response to compare against. It keeps the worksheet feel while adding genuine interactivity. One tip from experience: keep the text boxes generous in size and put a short prompt above each one explaining what a good answer looks like — learners often freeze in front of a blank box. In Rise, the scenario blocks and knowledge checks can approximate this, though Storyline gives you much more control. Good luck with the course!
