Stop Tuberculosis #556 - Personalize E-Learning with Variables
I absolutely love how this micro eLearning turned out and am honestly blown away by how much more powerful the training became with just a little bit of customization.
I chose this topic because our current TB training feels pretty stale, and I knew it could be more meaningful and impactful with some personalization.
I was also inspired by the Visible Thinking Routine: Circle of Viewpoints when thinking about how to present the information in a more engaging way. I used text variables to gather learner input and make the content feel more personal to each person going through the training. It took very little time to set up but made a huge difference in the experience.
For the visuals, I generated the images in Copilot using a simple prompt: “Generate an image of many different vectors that have to do with tuberculosis.” I then reused those images and the color scheme consistently throughout the training to keep everything cohesive.
The music was generated in ElevenLabs using this prompt: “Generate a minimal piano-based instrumental for a healthcare training on tuberculosis. Use soft, slow piano chords with subtle atmospheric background textures. The mood should feel compassionate, calm, and reflective, without being sad or dramatic. No vocals or strong rhythm.” It absolutely nailed the tone I was going for.
I hope you enjoy it! Let me know if you have any questions!

Loved this one. A great example of using variables for meaningful personalization, not just cosmetic customization. The perspective choice and personal connections make the content much more relevant.
Sure! Feel free to check out my storyline file here. It is still a bit rough, but I hope this helps!
