The Auditor

I used this introductory scene as part of a pre-training activity. Participants were asked about a number of different topics that were presented in the context of a regulatory audit. In this version, I deleted most of the audio, including the narrative, for the sake of demonstrating the use of variables as required by the challenge.

The variable used here (%LearnerName%) can be added just about anywhere else in the story where it would be meaningful. In the actual activity, the variable is referenced each time the learner answers a question from "the auditor," as a way to keep the learner moving through the activity.

Overall feedback from the learners (about 40 long-time employees of a large utility, with a wide range of experiences) was quite positive, and this challenge reminds me that I need to use this technique when I can do so.
