There are a couple of ways you can insert 360° videos into Rise 360. The method that will give you the best learner experience is to upload your video to YouTube and then insert the URL just like you usually would. YouTube's player handles 360° videos beautifully, and it looks gorgeous in Rise 360.
If your video is under 5GB, you can upload it directly to Rise 360. However, Rise 360 does not currently support native playback of 360° videos. The video will still play but may not look like learners expect.
Thanks for letting us know playback of 360° videos is an important feature for you!

Hi Bastien,
I know I've seen this asked before here, but I haven't seen any examples of it yet. Have you tried adding it using the Video/Embed URL lesson type?
Native support of these 360 degree videos in Rise would be a great feature idea!
I agree Ashley... I could already use that about 20 times; once the video format becomes more widespread, it would be 10x that...
Would love to hear what type of 360 videos you're using and if you've got any examples to share with us!
Thank you for your answers. I'll make a few tests with 360 videos from Youtube.
Would love to see what you create Bastien, so I hope you'll share with us here!
Sure!
Most are from NASA and the European Space Agency (ESA)... They're just adopting them, But I can see that they're going to be the default by summer...
Whatever became of this? I'd love to be able to add my 360 videos to my training. Please tell me this is a thing now!

You're welcome. Can we upgrade this to a feature request for the Dev team? Better VR360 video handling?
You got it, Cameron. We have this documented for our team, and we'll let you know if it's a feature we add.
Just picking up here - do you find though that if you embed a youtube 360 video in rise it wont play as a 360?
You need to be using the youtbe app for a 360 video to work - drag and scroll etc
