This seems like such a basic question - using Articulate Rise. Creating course is a breeze, but how do I upload docs, pdfs, other files that I want to include in my course?
Rise has an attachments block or you can host the files somewhere and provide links to the documents. A third option is to use Storyline 360 to hold the documents with links to them and then use a Storyline block in Rise.
I'm just playing around right now, trying to figure out if this is right for us. This is the list of options in blocks. Not seeing attachment. What am I missing?
Now I am wondering how to create a function that allows the student taking
the course to upload files (like an assignment)? Does Articulate do that
piece?
Not sure if it's okay to directly ping you, but I am trying to upload an
audio file to Rise in one of the interactive features. I recorded in Garage
Band but it doesn't seem to like the file. Won't allow the upload. Is a
garage band file (assume this is a mp3) not the right file type?

Thanks for being so responsive!

In that left side, select "Multimedia". Attachments are one of the block options found in the additional menu you will see.
I knew that would be embarrassingly obvious! Thank you, Owen!
Nothing is obvious when you are first exploring new software.

Hi,
Rise does not have the ability for students to upload assignment files.
Typically assignments and uploading files are handled by a LMS.
