When I attempt to record audio to a Process block no matter what microphone I use I get a crazy echo. The on-screen recording timeline jumps ahead and then the output is longer than the actual recorded time. I've attached an example. I'm using chrome.
I use SL360 to produce audio vs. using a mic, sometimes the characters there are good enough (computer generated) and if it is not good enough, I have it professionally done by narratorfiles.com. They are great, quick and reasonable.
Hi Suzanne! Thanks for reaching out! No, Rise doesn't have Text-To-Speech like SL, but I can add you to a feature request and let you know if we make any changes that help!
In the meantime, you can use a third-party app or a built-in browser screen reader to read through Rise content.
I'm having the same issue as Jess above when trying to record audio. There is an echo and the recording line jumps ahead resulting in a much longer recording time. Is there a resolution?
Please access Rise in Incognito or InPrivate window. Pressing Ctrl + Shift + n for Windows, or Press ⌘ + Shift + n for Mac switches you to Incognito mode and disables all browser plugins. Sometimes plugins cause odd behavior, do you still get the same issue when in Incognito?
Clear your web browser's cache, then test again. This article details how to clear the browser cache for all major browsers.
Check if the behavior is the same in all browsers. Here's a list of our supported browsers.

Hi Marie!
Multimedia Audio blocks allow you to record audio directly in Rise 360, or you can upload an audio file from your computer.
Let me know if that's what you were after!

Does Rise, like SL, support computer generated voice over?
