This feature of using the button to go back to the main page was not intended when it was first launched. But we have requested it again from our Rise engineers. I'll add your voice to the list so that when we hear updates from our team, I will update this post.

Hi Karin,
When the Button blocks were first launched, if you did not select a destination, a button click would take the student to the course landing page.
Then for some reason, Articulate changed it so that in this scenario it now opens another instance of the same course and in a new window.
So I'm not aware of a way to do this.

What's frustrating about this issue, is that it was working, unintended or not.
There was no absolutely reason for the development team to intentionally break it to prevent course designers from using it.
