Hi everyone,

Do you have any tips on quickly combining multiple Rise courses into one?

Thank you!

    Define quickly? (Just kidding.)

The only way to do this is to move one block at a time from one course to another. (You do this from the TOC...click on the ... and choose Copy to Another Course.)

  • Oof, ok! Wish I could do the same with entire courses, but thank you very much for sharing this tip, Karin! :)

Hi Anya! If you need to copy blocks, you can do this by using block templates.  Here's how. You might also find the other tips in that article useful, so please check them out!

    Dear All,

I have a question regarding combining courses as well. Currently I am working on eight small eLearnings in Rise using the new "Microlearning" feature. I just learned today that as of next year I will have to combine the eight short modules into one. The workaround Karin suggested does not seem to work as microlearnings in Rise do not have a table of content.

What is the best way to do this? Especially as the microlearnings will be translated into 20 languages I would really like to avoid doing this one by one.

    Thank you.

    Best,
    Dominik

      Hi Dominik,

There is a way to combine several microlearnings into a regular Rise course.

      1. Access your first Microlearning module.
      2. Create a new Block Template and add all of the blocks in your Microlearning to the block template.
      3. Go to your regular Rise 360 course and open the lesson where you want to copy the contents of your Microlearning module to.
      4. Below the lesson title insert the newly created Block Template from the Block Template Library.
      5. Repeat the process for each Microlearning module.
