Hi Jeremy, there still is no option to add alt text to the course logo. If you want to be updated on all the accessibility features we've added for Rise, you can check out this article.
Hi Ameila! Thanks for following up on this! Starting with the July 2021 update, in Storyline 360 you can add alt text to your logo in the modern player so it's accessible to screen readers and other assistive technologies. This carries over into SL Blocks inserted into Rise 360.
If the visibility box is checked but there isn’t any alt text, screen readers will read the file name of the logo.
If you’d prefer to hide the logo from screen readers altogether, uncheck the visibility box.
Please note when you use the modern player, your logo won’t display on smartphones. Nor will the logo show when you disable all the sidebar tabs.
After you've added in the logo and alt text, you can publish for Review 360 and insert the course as an SL block in Rise 360.
The modern player does not work for our company because you can not
adjust the specific color settings. Do we have any idea when Articulate
will update the classic player?
Can I bump this request? We have the same question, with a customer having identified an alt tag for the course logo as a "must-have" fix. Unfortunately, we're having to tell them we can't meet their needs.
Yes, of course. E-Learning Hero's will tell you that if you use the Modern
Player the alt text will work. At my job we can't use the Modern player so
I had to delete the logo to resolve the problem. Merry Christmas!

Hi Sue,
There is no way to do this as far as I know.
Hi Sue,
Thanks for letting us know your customer needs an alt tag option on the logo image. I'll be sure our team sees this request!
Is this possible in Storyline 360 with the modern player?
Hi Cory! Alt text can't be added to the course logo, and the logo isn't included in the player tab order.
You can read more about alt text options in Storyline 360 here.
Is this still the case after Rise 360 has been updated to address section 508 accessibility guidelines?

Hello! Do we have an update on the alt text for the logo in Storyline player?

Hi, thanks for the response. I am currently using the Classic player instead of the modern. Will that make a difference?
Hi Amelia, the accessibility improvements were added for the Modern Player.

Hi Amelia! We don't have any news on that yet. This link is the best source for all the changes that we make in Storyline 360.
Is there a way to remove the "Logo" alt tag from the Rise 360 Logo?
