Find and replace in Rise?

For those looking for a workaround, try publishing the course as a PDF and searching in there. It is still a pain because you have to go into Rise to fix things, but at least you will have an idea where to look.

Thanks for requesting this! I need to change a name in a module, one that's used MANY times, and I have to do each one - one by one. I hope I can find them all.

Yes!  We need this feature. 

Any news on Find & Replace feature? Though highlighted, the "Finds" need to be replaced manually. Thank you, would be great to have it!

I am waiting for this update as many others. Please bring in this functionality soon. It is very hard to manually replace all the words that need to be replaced if you have a long course as I have.

Has this been fixed? I have a project updating information to Rise project and this is critical to moving parts around or finding the specific section client needs information added. Please advise.

Four years ago this idea was submitted. Yikes. This is brutal. I'm working on a project right now where we are using a placeholder name until we're ready to share the full name with staff. It's so difficult to work in an environment where things change quickly, yet I can't do a simple find and replace in Rise. I need to go in manually to every page and scan for the names I need to replace. Pretty disappointed with Articulate.

I created this video to demonstrate a (fairly simple) way we found to perform a "find and replace" for an entire Rise course until that feature is implemented directly into Rise.

Note: You will need to create a (free) Smartcat account (a web-based translation tool)

That is a super-cool work-around. I have been dropping the SCORM folder into an edtor and doing it that way, then re-zipping and uploading to the LMS At least this way it is easy to edit moving forward. Nice work! 

Thanks, Bill! Super helpful! We maintain multiple versions of courses because of branding and country differences. It's so time-consuming to switch out product names manually. This should be a great workaround for us!
