A former employee made a table that contains images (see link). At the moment I am trying to make a similar table where I also need to insert images in a table. However, till this moment I am still unable to add photos to the table.
There was a bug in Rise 360 that allowed images to be pasted into text fields, including tables. Sadly, these images put a heavy strain on the Rise 360 database and contributed to a service outage. To prevent similar outages, we fixed the bug in our text editor, which means images can no longer be pasted into tables.
We're looking at ways to make it easier to insert images into text areas, so we'll keep you posted on that.
In the meantime, could you create the table in another tool like Microsoft Word, then insert the table as an image in Rise 360?
Hi Penelope! I'd love to hear more about what you're trying to do. Do you want to insert images into a table in Rise 360?
If so, I would suggest creating the table in another tool, such as Microsoft Word or Excel. Then, save the table as an image file, and upload it to a Rise 360 image block.
Yes +1 for needing this feature. I want to put a sample image as a preview to a link that is a text in a differnt column. This can't be emulated using a screenshot from a table in MS word. Thanks
We've been doing this same thing. Create a table in powerpoint/word, save it as an image, and insert the image in RISE. This is fine for now, However, editing the table is quite difficult as we have to redo them again, and there is also the issue of fitting the table within the content borders.
This is ABSOLUTELY still needed. Please add this feature back! Using MS Word to create a table and add as a screenshot to a page is a digital accessibility nightmare. Allowing images in tables provides for more inclusivity.
This is such a basic feature as far as today's era is concerned. I definitely need this in my courses.
Please try to introduce this as soon as possible.
By the way, when Articulate team makes any changes/updates to RISE or adds any features, where do they notify? Is there any change log for us users to access?

Thank you for your reply, Alyssa!
Good to know that I do not have to dig deeper into it. I'll go and make the table in Word and insert it as an image.
Wouter
any progress on this?
b rlly good to hv this back
Hi there, Kaleem. Currently, there's no way to insert images into text fields in Rise 360 blocks. We'll let you know if we make any changes!
Are there any updates to this please. I am trying to do something similar to OP.

I would like the option to insert an image next to text (with the text as a column next to the image) in the future.
Asking for this feature as well. Putting a table in as an image diminishes accessibility significantly.
I agree with the comments above. This feature is 100% needed.

+1 from me too - adding this as an image diminishes accessibility and can't easily be updated. Thanks
Any updates on this?
Hi Carmen! Thanks for checking in, nope we don't have any updates to share yet.

This is still needed.
It's discouraging to see so many great ideas from years ago that keep getting kicked down the curb.
Please add this feature back in!

Hi Rakesh! Thanks for adding your voice to this request. When we make changes, you'll find them in the What's New page.
Adding my name to the list of people who need this feature!
