Hi there, Wayne. The quiz results in Rise are built-in with the formatting determined. What sort of ways were you looking to customize the results?
Storyline gives you endless opportunities to control the look of your content -- is it possible for you to create a custom quiz in Storyline and add it to your Rise course using a Storyline block? Bonus: You can now use Storyline blocks in Rise to communicate completion!
I was looking to add some text into it but have found other ways of doing what I wanted to.
It sounds like it will be possible for me to build a quiz in Storyline and then use it in Rise in the future from the bonus information you've provided.
Is there a template or slide that will produce the same animated circular results slide that is in Rise? I would like to import this kind of a results slide into Quizmaker.
That results set up is specific to Rise, so it's not one of the Results slide options in Quizmaker. I can pass along this idea to our team as we're working on continuous improvements and updates to the Content Library templates.
It's great to know that the Storyline block if it's a quiz can communicate completion. One short coming I noticed and maybe you can take note of is to develop this function in the next update and that is when you have a drag and drop with submit interaction from Storyline that you bring into RISE and right after that block use a continue button that you control to not show any further content until the user has completed the block above the divider acts upon the block above it but not upon the Storyline block.
In other words when the submit button has been pressed this should make the divider style button active but the divider button reacts to the block above the Storyline block rather than the Storyline block itself.
I noticed something, and maybe you can take note of it Crystal or someone on the Articulate team perhaps to develop this function in the next update and that is when you have a drag and drop with submit interaction from Storyline that you bring into RISE and right after that block use a continue button that you control to not show any further content until the user has completed the block above the divider acts upon the block above it but not upon the Storyline block.

it would be great to be able to add a continue button in a quiz block if you've turned off the global navigation. Otherwise, learners can't advance in the course :/
It sounds like you turned off the course sidebar and removed the Previous/Next buttons in your course, is that right?
I can see how this does create a roadblock for learners, as there's no way for them to move forward after the quiz. Let me get this in front of my team to see how we can help. Thanks for letting us know what you'd like to see!
Hey Kelsey, I'm in the same boat. I have built a non-linear course in Rise and I need to be able to get from the Results page to a FINAL page that has a final message. I do not have Prev or Next buttons nor do I have a sidebar since the whole course is non-linear and branching. So how can I achieve this? Need to know ASAP!!!! Can something be adjusted so we can add BLOCKS to the Results page???????
I had to scrap my entire navigational design, Ashley. I made a copy of it a Rise and then made another copy, which was a less exciting, linear course, with next and back buttons. Not the answer you're looking for, but I had a deadline and made the decision in the 11th hour.
Hopefully, it's a feature that can be added in the future.
You would have to build the quiz passing conditions in storyline and then add the continue divider. Then, set that to allow the user to continue once the block above has been completed.
When you publish you can't use the quiz option to track completion, either the completion of the storyline block or % of course completion.
I would also love to see an editable results block for Rise. This would be much easier for me in developing Rise courses with a quiz, rather than separately building the quiz in SL. Thanks for considering this feature update!
I also want to let you all now that i want to edit the quiz result silde. This to guide the learner that this is the end slide and he need to scroll down to see the next button or can close the elearning module.

That is good to know that RISE can communicate completion of Storyline.

Hey Daniel and welcome to E-Learning Heroes :)
Curious if you have a sample that we could take a look at to see the behavior you are reporting?

A thought....how would using a quiz built in Storyline work there? Would that quiz be trackable, and then I could add a block after that?????
I think that could work.

I see it's been 2 months since you put this in front of your team. When do they plan on releasing an update?
Hi Ashley and Kelsey,
I don't have an update to share here yet, but as soon as we do, we'll let you know!
Thanks for letting me know that this feature is important to you both.

Hi all,
Good news - we have now added a Continue button after Quiz for courses where the Next/Prev buttons have been turned off.
If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to reach out!
HUZZAH!!!!!!!!!
Yes!!!!! Thank you!!!
Hi Koen,
Thanks for sharing your feedback here!
We’d love to hear more about how this ability would make authoring in Rise easier. The best way to do that is to log a feature request.
Let me know if I can help with anything else.
