We are planning on localising a set of Rise lessons into many languages including Arabic and Hebrew. I am aware that Rise is not ready yet for bi-directional display.
After you generate a TinCan, in the style sheet (main.bundle.css) search and replace "left" to "right" and "right" to "left" throughout the file. Also change language to “he” at the beginning of file Index.html.
So before we try - can you confirm if this this workaround does actually work when published? If not looks like only current solution is to convert to storyline 360.
Thanks for asking, Andrew. We don't have right-to-left support on our development roadmap right now, but I appreciate you letting us know that feature is important to you!
Hi @Admin team, now that Articulate is valued at $3.75 billion will you be looking into adding right to left support into the roadmap? By not doing so, you're effectively excluding millions of people from being able to receive content in their own language.
Hello! Also flagging that the right-to-left language feature is important for my organization as well. It's a huge missed opportunity that this is not available in Rise 360!

Hello, does anybody know if Rise now support Arabic and/or Hebrew?
Thanks for asking, Yasuyo. Rise 360 supports left-to-right languages right now. Thanks for letting us know you need support for Arabic and Hebrew!
That's great news! Do you know if there is an option we can toggle left to right display, or do we have to manipulate the CSS file in a TinCan?
Hi Yasuyo,
I'm sorry for the confusion! While Rise 360 does support left-to-right languages, it does not support right-to-left languages.
We'll let you know if we add support for right-to-left languages in the future!
I see, I misunderstood your first message. We will control the display in style sheets then. Thanks.
Hello Yasuyo, Would love to know how you can do that.
After you generate a TinCan, in the style sheet (main.bundle.css) search and replace "left" to "right" and "right" to "left" throughout the file. Also change language to “he” at the beginning of file Index.html.
change:
<html lang="en" class="">
to:
<html lang="he" class="" dir="rtl">
Not much good when you send to Review though. Struggling with Arabic translations. This support was requested a longtime ago.
What is annoying is that the text shows correctly in Edit mode but when in Preview and Publish mode it all reverts to the left.
So before we try - can you confirm if this this workaround does actually work when published? If not looks like only current solution is to convert to storyline 360.
Any further progress on this?
Can anyone confirm if the workaround actually worked or are people doing this in a different way???
HELP please :)
and for Arabic, do you change to 'ar' at the beginning of file Index.html?
Yes, I believe so. :)

@Admin-Team: Is there any update in relation to support being offered for right-to-left languages?

Hi all - I have been googling this as we have just stumbled upon an error with right to left languages.
We have our translations back from the agency but only spotted the error(s) as we copy and pasted it in.
Has anyone had any success with the workaround? Is there someone willing to support/advise us? We could pay for the support.
currently, evaluating Articulate vs exact LMS and the first question is How to align the Arabic course material?
Found this thread for the same question - any solution?
Is there any advance on this?

Any update on supporting Right-to-Left languages? I think it's been "on the roadmap" for 3+ years.
Any news??
There are a lot of right-to-left readers in the world...
@alyssa why was this removed from the roadmap when it was on 3 years ago?
+1 PLEASE HELP!
