An agency is going to build an interactive elearning and deliver it in scorm package, which I want to embed in RISE. How will this work as I just red that scorm cannot be imported into RISE?
Can they provide me a "raw" file which i can import into my Storyline 360?
Hi there, Ariane! Thanks for reaching out. Your research is correct - you can't import a SCORM package into Rise. You can embed web content into either Rise or Storyline, however.
Both Storyline and Rise will also create SCORM output. What tool is the other agency using? Also, do you need to track the learners' interaction with the content you're being provided? We can come up with some ideas together!
I am a daily Rise user and I just want to be sure that if I am creating a Web export from Rise and if my course is definitively deleted into Rise for any reason, the web format previously created is sufficient and can be re-imported into Rise to get my course back on my list.
Thanks a lot Karl for this really useful clarification.

I know this has been asked before but have there been any changes to the functionality for importing RISE SCORM packages into another RISE file in order to edit them again?

Hi Mathilde,
You cannot import an exported version of a course (either Web or SCORM Zip version) export back into Rise for editing.
Only the original Rise course can be edited, and not the exported version.
Thanks a lot Karl for this really useful clarification.

Hi Mea,
It's not possible to do this.
