SL block in Rise 360 only looks good on laptop

Aug 10, 2022

Hi there.

I have added some SL blocks to my Rise 360 course, one slider interaction and one Drag & Drop. It looks great on the laptop, where it presents it selves when I scroll down. On mobile devices, I get a black area with a title and have to activate the interaction by clicking what looks like a player. I have deactivated the player option and other options in SL because it is a single slide. It is a problem because our learners access the training via mobile phone or tablet.

Does anyone have an explanation and, even better, a solution for this?

Hi there, Kari. It sounds like you want your 1-slide Storyline interaction to display in the lesson without having to click a play button.

Learners using a mobile device will see a play button on top of any Storyline block. This is expected behavior for mobile viewing because of autoplay restrictions in mobile browsers. Tapping the play button will initiate the Storyline slide to appear.

Please let me know if you have any more questions about how Storyline blocks display on mobile devices!
