For this week’s Articulate E-Learning Heroes Challenge exploring the new Custom Code Block feature in Rise 360, I built a proof of concept that blends eLearning design with cutting-edge computer vision.
My project demonstrates how a Rise lesson page can host a real-time British Sign Language (BSL) hand tracking system, powered by MediaPipe hand landmark detection and custom recognition algorithms. Learners receive immediate interactive feedback as they practise forming BSL letters in front of their webcam – all seamlessly embedded within Rise.
