Vibe-Coding a People Manager Simulation

For this entry, I partnered with ChatGPT to vibe-code a people manager simulation game. The learner steps into the role of a new call centre manager, taking over a struggling team. Each decision impacts key measures such as performance, morale, complaints, retention, and stress, and if the wrong calls stack up, you risk being “fired”.

The full game runs inside Rise, with avatars, tooltips, game-over conditions, and a narrative end-summary. To keep it simple, I hosted the images directly in Rise (using a hidden lesson to grab the image URLs).

I’ve also written a short how-to guide just below the game, so anyone who wants to repurpose the code and build their own simulation can follow along.

This was a great way to test the Code Block for more advanced interactions, and to explore how lightweight simulations can boost engagement in corporate learning.

Super impressed! I like the idea of hiding the image URLS in a hidden lesson.

Really awesome ! I'm wondering how hide a lesson in Rise. I've tried to look into the community to get the tip, but I have found nothing. Is there a specific setting in navigation menu or something else I've missed?

    Thank you Elimbert

It's my wording sorry - You turn all navigation including buttons off in the course settings. Then build a lesson which the end user cannot navigate too, upload your images here, right click them and 'copy image url/address'. You can also just start a separate course altogether and place your images in a lesson within the separate course.

danielbenton It was my first idea to turn off navigation and thank you to confirm this way. Great tricks!

Great idea for hosting images. I hosted them in Canva AI, which is where I have an account and coded mine. But I sometimes like the output ChatGPT gives me, so this is a good hack.
