We’re super excited to share the latest new goodness in Rise: the sorting block. Now you can easily add sorting interactions to the custom lessons you create with blocks. See how you can use the sorting block in this video:
When I view a Storyline interaction in Rise Sorting blocks (which I love!) on a mobile device, the learner has to click play to view the interaction. However, this does not happen when they view it on their desktop. Is there a setting in storyline that I should update or within Rise?
Hi Trina, Is there any consideration going on to make the sorting activity adaptable so that you can use pictures or colors for sorting? For example, I need my trainees to sort information based on a red or green tag. Thanks!
For now, you can use text in a Rise sorting block. If you're interested in using images, design your fully customized sorting activity in Storyline, then embed it in Rise using a Storyline block!
Give it a try, and let me know if you need any help along the way. 😁

Is there a template I can download?
Hi Kristen. I don't have a template to offer you, but I do have this detailed set of instructions for using sorting activity blocks in Rise. Hopefully this will give you a hand in getting up to speed on this cool new feature!
Thank you!
Well done

This is a good feature, but, it would be a great feature if you could use images to sort.

Hello Trina,
Can we add a text hint for the item when we drop into the wrong target
Please help me on this
Hi there, Jay. That's a cool idea, but not possible in the current sorting activity setup.
If that's a requirement, build a sorting interaction with Storyline 360, and add it as a block in your Rise 360 course.
