Hi Lesley,
Currently there is the option to give feedback for each question, but we're looking at answer level feedback as a part of the '17 roadmap. I don't have a more narrowed ETA yet, but we'll keep folks posted here in the E-Learning Heroes community!
Any news on this yet? Possible workarounds in the meantime?
Hi Paul, thanks for checking in! I can't remember seeing any workarounds for this shared yet, but I'll certainly keep my eyes peeled. We'll keep you posted here once there is a bit more to share about the ETA as well!
Hi, checking in on this. I'm hoping to include answer specific feedback in a Rise course this spring. Any additional information on the timeline?
Hi Mary,
Answer level feedback is still a pretty fluid feature at this point, but we know it'll be sometime this year (2017). Once we've got a bit more to share on that ETA, we'll be sure to pop back into the ELH community to keep you posted!
Hi, I am also looking to include answer-specific feedback in Rise articles, Is this feature live yet?
Hi Nicole and welcome to E-Learning Heroes :)
Nothing specific on this one yet. You can see all of the latest information as we release here in the version history. Also, be sure to follow our What's New as well!
The real problem is that in using feedback, it gives the same response in both correct and incorrect selections. Misleading, because incorrect may say "Correct! .....".
Sorry, signed in to this site incorrectly.

Hi Karen and Greg,
The feedback will be the same but you should see the Correct/Incorrect indication at the top:
So I keep that in mind while writing my feedback like the above example.
I could see a lot of use cases for more feedback options though! We're continuously exploring new features and customer input is extremely valuable in that process.
If you’d to share more specifics on this, please send it along as a feature request!
I agree with @Karen Pizur. The standard 'Correct' and 'Incorrect' are not always appropriate. It would be nice to have those as default with the ability to custom. Sometimes questions are used more as gauge for feedback and stating 'incorrect' is not the most appropriate.
Also, to @Lesley Condon's original question, is there an ETA of providing quiz feedback? This is a basic tenant of learning and a necessary feature.
Hi Hillarie!
It sounds like you may be aware, but I wanted to be sure you knew you could change the default responses if needed. Check out a quick video here.
This is a feature that we are tracking, but I do not have an ETA to share.
We are trying to track user ideas and feedback better, so be sure to share any feature requests with our team here.
Any news on this?
Leslie M. This is Karen Pizur. The link you sent to change defaults changes just the label. It does not fix the problem that there still is not a setup for feedback that is correct vs incorrect.
I understand Karen. That feature is still on our radar.
I just wanted to be sure that Hillarie did not mean the literal 'words' in the meantime :)
Hey everyone! The goodness just keeps on coming… Choice-level feedback for multiple choice quiz questions in Rise is now live!
Give learners a single feedback statement for all responses, different feedback for right and wrong responses, or even different feedback for each possible response. Here's how. And because Rise is web-based, just open your courses and you’ll see these new options. Let me know if you have any questions!
These updates to the Quizes in Rise are great; however, I noticed that when I give customized feedback it is also relieving the correct answer. Is it possible to show the feedback with out also showing the correct answer?
Hi Nicole,
Are you referring to the check mark that'll appear next to the correct answer shown here:
That sounds like a good idea to have the option to remove that as well, so I'll pass that along to our Product team!
Hi Ashley,
Yes, that is the mark I am referring to. It would be great if there was an option to remove it. Thanks for passing this to your Product Team!
Happy to, Nicole! Thanks for sharing here, and you're always welcome to send to the team directly right here. 😁
Hi Ashley, I am having the same issue, by providing instant feedback I am giving away the correct answer. I thought amending the setting 'Reveal Answers' would omit this, but that just stops the feedback from showing up at all.
Anything you can do to feed this back to the team will be much appreciated.
Thanks for your point, Michaela! Currently, the feedback and the answer reveal are available as a set, but we're tracking the demand to split them up so that you can give feedback without revealing answer choices.
We'll keep this discussion updated with any changes!
Hello, is there any news on this? As the idea of splitting feedback and answer reveal would be very helpful for me as well. Thx!
Thanks for checking in, Z! We're still tracking this request, so thanks for letting us know it's important to you. If we add this feature to Rise in the future, we'll share the news right here in this discussion!
I will chime in on this as well. The need to provide feedback but not reveal the answer is paramount. This provides an opportunity to engage in re-teaching without saying 'and the correct answer is....'.
One additional component - it would be great to allow video-based feedback as well.
