Meet Your New Co-Presenter: What I Learned Building with AI Avatars in Rise 360

Can we add our own voice to the avatars we create? WHY? I recently explored this setting and was delighted to discover the ability to create an avatar from a photograph of myself, as the author of the eLearning course. I integrated this avatar into a section dedicated to sharing my personal experiences related to the eLearning topic. Although there is an option for an AI-generated voice, I would prefer to add my own voice for the avatar. I believe by adding my voice that it would significantly enhance the authenticity of my contribution, enabling me to present a genuine example of the lessons I have learned, rather than relying on an AI-generated voice. The use of an AI-generated voice could lead learners to perceive my experiences as fabricated, in contrast to the reality I convey through my own voice.
