360 Image Editing - Marker Button Icons
Can you add the ability:
- To upload your own icons via an image upload (currently restricted to content library)
- Change the icon colour (currently restricted to white, so if wanted a yellow button, the icon is nearly invisible)
- Add different shaped buttons (currently restricted to circles)

I've never used this feature, but I was curious enough to explore and found some make-shift things that may help you. Keep in mind, these work visually, but I haven't tested the functionality since I'm not familiar with normal usage. You should be able to use these ideas alone or in combination
- Icon Colour can currently be changed using the colour selector located between Marker Styles and Label Styles.
- Icon shape can be faked:
- Create your icon as a standard shape
- Don't forget shape tools now includes a Merge Shapes option to make more complex shapes
- You could also import from Power Point or use something from the Content 360 Library
- Copy the shape to your clipboard
- On your marker, choose the blank Icon shape
- the last option in the navigation section
- Setting colour to 0 opacity in the colour selector does not do the same since it doesn't remove the shadow
- Go to Edit States for your marker and paste the icon from your clipboard.
- Don't forget to realign to the anchor point!
- Create your icon as a standard shape
- Marker shape be faked in a couple ways:
- Use one of the icon shapes as your marker shape e.g. the Map pointer icon
- Change the Icon to the shape you want as your marker
- Set Marker Fill to No Fill and Marker Border to No Outline
- Change your Icon Color (see above)
- Copy/Paste your own shape
- This method will allow shapes that expand outside the default circle
- Create your Marker shape as a standard shape
- Copy the shape to your clipboard
- Set Marker Fill to No Fill and Marker Border to No Outline
- Go to Edit States for your marker and paste the shape from your clipboard.
- Don't forget to realign to the anchor point!
- Import your marker shape as a png
- This method allows you to be most creative, but it must be fully contained within the original circle
- Design your png using whatever tool you want. You can even choose an image with the icon included.
- Right click your marker and go to Format Shape
- On the fill tab, choose Picture or texture fill, then select the required File
- If your marker includes the icon, remember to pick the blank Icon shape
- Use one of the icon shapes as your marker shape e.g. the Map pointer icon

Thanks for your thoughts. I'm using the icons within the 360 degree image feature which has a slightly different interface/ribbon.

Another feature I've never used! And you're so right. Those features are very limited. Switching to Dark Theme would have been better spent making your icon black since you already have control of the background colour and have the ability to invert them if you wanted.
