Ability to Change Pace/Speed of AI Voice

Idea:
Provide the ability to adjust the pace or playback speed of AI-generated voiceovers within Storyline.

Current limitation:
AI voice narration currently plays at a fixed speed, with limited or no control over pacing. This can create challenges when aligning narration with on-screen content.

In video content courses the narration may feel too fast or too slow and difficult to match to/flow with the audio.

Suggested improvement:
Introduce controls to adjust AI voice speed directly within Storyline. This could include:

• Adjustable playback speed (e.g. 0.75x, 1x, 1.25x, 1.5x)
• Fine-tuned speed control via a slider
• Option to apply settings globally or per slide
• Real-time preview of speed changes

Use case:
When creating narration for system training or complex instructions, authors can slow down/speed up speech.

Benefit:

• Provides greater control over timing and pacing
• Reduces the need for rework or external audio editing
• Enhances accessibility for different learning preferences
