Feature Request: Knowledge Check Question Carousel in Rise

Hi!

I love being able to include 2-3 knowledge check questions at the end of my lessons in Rise. But, at the moment, each question needs its own Knowledge Check block, which creates quite a bit of scrolling for learners. I'm wondering if there's a way to display multiple questions within a single block, such as a carousel or paged/slideshow-style interaction where learners can move from one question to the next without scrolling.

Thanks in advance!

    Hi,

Thank you for getting back to me!

I do use Quiz Lessons at the end of my courses, but sometimes I like having a few questions at the end of a lesson to check understanding before moving on to the next one. But thank you for the suggestion!

Most of the time, I use a Scenario block, which is useful because I can still give learners feedback on their answers. However, it's not always practical with what I am trying to do. So sometimes, I just end up using 2/3 Knowledge Check blocks one after another. It works, but it makes the lesson a little longer and increases scrolling.

That's why having a Knowledge Check block that supports multiple questions would be really valuable.

Thanks again for the discussion! 😊

  • Hey Agathe,

Thanks for the feedback on how we can improve Knowledge Checks in Rise.

Currently, each Knowledge Check block only supports one question at a time. If you’d like to group multiple questions together, we suggest adding a Quiz lesson at the end of your course. Quiz lessons support multiple questions in one place, and progress horizontally like slideshow/carousel interactions.

However, I see the value in having this functionality extended to Knowledge Check blocks as well. Do you mind sharing how you've worked around this limitation? Such as using other block types or combining questions another way? If so, how much extra time does that add to your workflow?
