Quickshare - IFrame

I love the quick share feature. I am a 360 user but love the new Frontend for clients to create their own training. I have found so many compelling ways to use the Quick Share guestbook, and as they expand its capabilities, I expect that to grow. It's a truly frictionless way to deliver training.

Here is my ask. I have a password-protected management platform, and I want to put Quick Share links, but my dev team said that Articulate won't fire inside an Iframe. I don't want to embed a site because I lose the Quick Share analytics. Any ideas?

Steve

  • Hey SteveHeinen1,

Thanks for sharing more about your plans! Your compliance example shows why it matters to identify learners without email addresses and know which company they belong to, especially when you’re supporting many clients.

I also appreciate your suggestion for an admin-managed content collection that clients could reuse and customize for their training.

For the people you add to Frontline, would per-user spending limits, separate credit allowances, or visibility into each person’s usage be most useful? Admins can view the remaining balance and export credit usage history from the Credits page, as explained in our Understanding Credits guide. What additional controls would best support your workflow?

An admin could have a teams folder to share content with other users so they could use and customize content much like you do with templates and content in 360/rise.

I understand on the iframe. From a guestbook standpoint, it would be great if we could set two things:

    1. Change the email address to some other unique identifier, like a cell or company ID. Not everyone has an email address. But everyone could have a unique identifier.  This is QuickShare, so there are no login credentials.
    2. It would also be nice to have a field for Company Name

I have dozens of courses I plan to use with QuickShare across dozens of companies and thousands of users.

For example, on a compliance form, I may use a quick macro lesson to document the policy. QuickShare is truly the first frictionless way to push out training

I use 360 but also have Frontline, as I plan to use them differently.  On Frontline, I have tested learning types.  I understand that credits, but building a simple course uses zero credits. I anticipate generated courses that burn tokens, but if I set my clients under my Frontline. Seems to good to be true, but i tested it

I just want to make sure I tell them correctly. I am waiting for the ability to manage tokens by user I add to Frontline.

    Thanks for your feedback.

  • Hi SteveHeinen1,

I'm glad to hear you've been enjoying Quick Share and the new experience! It's great to see how you're looking to build on it by incorporating it into your existing management platform while still taking advantage of Quick Share analytics.

You're right that Quick Share links aren't currently designed to be embedded in an iframe. I'd love to understand a little more about how you're envisioning this workflow.

    • Which Quick Share analytics or learner information are most important for the content you're planning to embed in your management platform?
    • Roughly how many courses or users would you expect to support through this setup?

That additional context would help us better understand the reporting needs and the type of integration you're looking to achieve with Quick Share.
