Rise Quiz Results 'slide'

If you add a quiz lesson, you cannot add any lesson blocks around it (e.g. paragraph text block). After answering the questions I want to guide learners on their next task. All I can do is edit the last quiz question's feedback. What I really need is an editable results slide, giving the score and some instruction text on what to do next.

Yes, I agree. When we set a limit on how many attempts at the quiz a learner can have there is no way to tell them how to continue their learner journey once all attempts are exhausted. A block we could edit would allow us to direct the student appropriately, so they are not just sitting there getting frustrated with no way forward.

This was raised with support back in March but alas.

    • Hi NS950,

Thanks for adding your voice here, and for raising this again! I understand that when you limit quiz attempts in Rise, learners have no way of seeing how to continue once their attempts run out. You’d like an editable results block to guide them to the next step and keep them from getting stuck.

To help us understand your experience:

      • What do learners need to do next once they’ve used all their attempts?
      • How do you guide them today when that happens?

We can’t promise a specific outcome, but your details help us understand what your learners need. If more comes up, we’d love to hear it!

        • What do learners need to do next once they’ve used all their attempts? various things depending on the subject of the module, it would be good to a section that we edit to tell them.
        • How do you guide them today when that happens? we put contact us alongside the retry in the limited character button which inevitably results in the student getting frustrated at 'which one do I do retry or contact' after they try to login and out over a period of days or weeks. The we get an angry email threating escalation action.
  • Yes, I agree with these comments. The end of the quiz seems very definite, and no room to add a block with either continuing comments or even a congratulations message.

Thanks for adding your perspective here, AndrewFraser-05. I can see why this would feel limiting, especially when you want to guide learners on what to do next after a quiz.

Having an editable results screen or the ability to add content after a quiz would make it much easier to provide next steps or additional context.

I’ve added your feedback to our existing tracking so our product team can continue to evaluate this need.

  • Hi HVfb0f498d-053b!

Thanks for sharing this. You’re right: in Rise, quiz lessons don’t currently allow lesson blocks before or after the quiz, and the only place to add guidance is in the final question’s feedback.

I understand why that’s limiting. An editable results screen with the score and custom instructions would make it much easier to guide learners on next steps. I’ve shared this request with our product team so they can consider adding more flexibility to quiz results in Rise.

Thanks for taking the time to explain your use case!

We'll keep you posted as soon as we have updates on this.
