Skip Ahead feature

I just wanted to share that I liked the Skip Ahead feature, but what caught my attention was that the menu is restricted till the questions are answered; once I answer all the questions correctly, the menu is enabled, and the lesson that was skipped is marked as complete but is enabled. So, despite marking it skip, the learner can click and go through the lesson. The same thing also happens if Skip optional is selected. I feel that in the course menu, the lesson skipped should be disabled and the learner should be able to access it only through Skip optional. Please suggest.
