Storyline feature request: ability to set Slide Master objects to maintain the state

Current functionality

The state of a persistent object on a Slide Master or Layout is set on a slide-by-slide basis. In other words, when the object's state is changed on one slide, it doesn’t change the state on other slides.

That is useful in many situations. However, extra master triggers are required to maintain a changed state as the user moves through other slides using the same master. 

 

Requested functionality

I'd like a button that could toggle between the current functionality or maintaining a changed state on subsequent slides. This would eliminate the need for extra triggers to maintain the state, such as after a user earns a "badge" that is changed from Hidden to Normal on one slide, and that badge should show for the rest of the course.

As I envision it, the button would only be available on the States panel when viewing a Slide Master or Layout. And it would only be available when a persistent object is selected. (It wouldn't be an option for placeholders, because those are editable on each slide.)
