How to maintain question links to a global Results Slide in Storyline 360?
Hello everyone,
I’m encountering an issue in Articulate Storyline 360 regarding the management of multiple quiz results within a single project.
Context:
- My module contains several quizzes, each linked to a specific competency (displayed with stars on the right).
- I also have an overall results slide (badge on the left) that aggregates all questions in the project.
- This overall results slide is the only one configured to send data to the LMS.
What I’m doing:
- For each “competency” quiz, I select only the relevant questions.
- For the global result, I select all questions in the project.
Issue:
When I go back to edit any question, it loses its association with the overall results slide.
My questions:
- Is this a known behavior in Storyline?
- Are there best practices for managing multiple results (by competency + global) without losing associations?
- Is there a more reliable way to structure this type of tracking?

SafeTeamAcademy: I'll build on PhilMayor's answer. Yes, you can set up a Results slide to score other Results slides. That's done in the Quiz Settings Options.
When you publish the course, set it to track completion with that Results of Results slide.
- Do not include the other Results slide in Tracking. If you do that, the course will be marked complete as soon as the user reaches the first Results slide.

A question can only be assigned to one results slide.
You may be better using a results slide of results slides to aggregate

I’ve learned something new today! I wasn’t aware that a results slide could aggregate multiple other results slides to provide a consolidated summary.
SafeTeamAcademy: I'll build on PhilMayor's answer. Yes, you can set up a Results slide to score other Results slides. That's done in the Quiz Settings Options.
