storyline slide view: slides move in slide panel - please freeze slides
Hi RandySimmons1! Thank you for reaching out! I'm interested in hearing more about this behavior because I don't see that we have it logged as a bug or feature request. I understand that when you're editing your course that you move from slide to slide in the slide view on the left of the slide stage. However, the position of the thumbnail changes, making it rather tedious!
Is it possible that you could create a screen recording of your experience that I can share with our Product team?

See attached. When I click on slide 3.10 it jumps halfway up the screen. Same thing when I click on slide 3.13.

In addition it would be helpful in finding the current thumbnail if the highlight was easier to see. Change the color to red and/or make the highlight line thicker.

LaurenDuvall Here is another example. This time I was adding an audio file to a slide and the thumbnail moved up in the list.

Hi RandySimmons1! This extra info and screen recordings are super helpful! What you're running into looks more like a bug to me than a feature request, so I've opened a case on your behalf to connect you with our Support Engineers. From here, they'll read through the case to get up to speed. I've also sent you an initial email so that you can follow up with a .story file if possible. We'll continue the conversation in your support case!

I too have this problem of the side panel slides moving. It even happens when selecting a slide that isn't at the top or bottom of the panel as shown in the videos. I can't unfortunately make any videos as it is a work computer this is on. If this can be fixed or a toggle switch that turns this on and off added that would really help. I have on numerous occasions copied or duplicated the wrong slide because it has moved of its own accord!
