Hello From Seattle

My name is Chris Findley, and I’ve worked as an Instructional Systems Designer (ISD) for nearly a decade. Before transitioning into this field, I spent several rewarding years teaching middle school—specializing in ESOL, English, and Computer Technology.

After leaving public education, I began contracting with organizations such as the Veterans Benefits Administration, followed by several years supporting a U.S. Navy training revision initiative. My contributions primarily centered around Instructor-Led Training and later expanded to include eLearning platforms.

Three years ago, I joined my current company, where I’ve continued to grow professionally. Most of my work has focused on government contracts and projects within the transportation industry, providing valuable experience across a range of learning environments.

Now, I’m ready to evolve my skill set by diving deeper into development using Articulate and exploring new opportunities in the commercial sector. I’m excited to embrace fresh challenges, sharpen my technical abilities, and connect with a vibrant community of fellow learning professionals.
