I’m Paul Alders, a freelance e-learning developer and instructional designer based in the Netherlands, working with clients across the globe. I help organizations design and build effective, engaging digital learning using tools like Articulate Storyline and Rise.

With over 15 years of experience, I focus on clarity, creativity, and real-world results.

My journey into digital learning started in 2009, working as a teacher in vocational education, when I realized how powerful well-designed learning experiences could be. Since then, I’ve worked with clients across industries — including healthcare, education, and internationally operating organizations — creating courses that not only inform, but engage.

I believe in starting with the real problem and designing solutions that are simple, human, and effective. I’m proud to be recognized as an Articulate Super Hero, and I actively share and support others in the E-Learning Heroes community.

Working with clients across the globe has taught me a lot about other cultures. This doesn’t just make me a team player, but also shows up in my kitchen — my favorite room in the house. It’s where I cook for family and friends, and where there’s always space for good stories, shared laughter, and a glass of wine.
