Hi, I'm Ekaterina! Some of you may remember me from ELH under my previous account, Ekaterina_V. I shared a few projects here last year and was excited to reconnect with the community again. I'm an Instructional Designer and eLearning Developer based in British Columbia, Canada. My background combines instructional design, visual arts, and digital illustration, which naturally led me to creating interactive learning experiences in Articulate Storyline and Rise. Over the past several years, I've developed corporate eLearning courses, with a particular focus on interactive learning, branching scenarios, custom visuals, and learner-centered design. Before moving into eLearning, I studied Fine Arts and worked as an illustrator and art instructor, and I still bring that artistic perspective into my projects today. Most recently, I worked as a Courseware Developer in the aviation industry. Following a company-wide restructuring, I am currently exploring new opportunities as an Instructional Designer, eLearning Developer, or Storyline Developer. In the meantime, I'm using this opportunity to rebuild my portfolio, learn new skills, and reconnect with the amazing ELH community. When I'm not building courses, you'll probably find me teaching art classes, working on personal illustration projects, or spending time with my three kids, two cats, and one very energetic dog. Hello everyone. My name is Maribel, I'm Colombian, living in Montreal. I'm new to instructional design; I literally discovered this path a month ago after being lost for almost 2 years (career-wise). I recently moved to this country, and being an immigrant is like pressing a reboot button because you have to reinvent yourself completely; at least that was my case because I'm not a conventional worker. My background is in leadership development, coaching, and large-scale training programmes across corporate environments (including BMW) and national initiatives like Help to Grow. I’m all about practical, usable learning—not theory that sits on a shelf. Right now, I’m stepping into something that really matters to me: leading within a non-profit focused on life skills and development for children, parents, and teachers. I’m Monica, an Interactive Technology Engineer based in Mexico. 🇲🇽 My mission is simple: I believe learning at work should never be boring. I’m a huge fan of Storyline 360, specifically when it comes to the "heavy lifting" of logic, variables, and custom triggers. I love the challenge of taking complex, technical content and turning it into an immersive experience that actually sticks. I’m also an Adobe Illustrator enthusiast, so I enjoy creating custom assets to ensure every project has a unique UI/UX. Hi everyone! My name is Ekaterina, and I'm currently based in Vancouver, Canada. Since then, I’ve learned a lot through my work projects, but I’ve also become curious to explore more advanced features and creative possibilities. Hi! 👋 I'm Ginger Swart, a Community Manager at Articulate. I joined Articulate in April of 2022 as a member of our Training team 👩💻 and moved to our Community team in 2024. Before coming to Articulate, I spent 10 years as a technical writer before moving to the training world. As a Community Manager, I'm here to help you! I spend a lot of my time in the backend of our community, but I'm happy to answer your questions, troubleshoot your project files, and give advice, too. I also write articles and do webinars. Hi, I’m Amalia LM, based in Arizona. I’ve worked in the E-Learning space at Amazon, focusing on scalable, learner-centered training for a diverse and global audience—primarily within operations. In parallel, I’ve served in parish ministry, supporting Spanish-speaking communities through communication, formation, and outreach. These two paths—corporate learning and ministry—have helped shape how I approach instructional design with empathy, clarity, and cultural awareness. I’m passionate about creating engaging, accessible content and enjoy collaborating across teams to bring structure and meaning to the learning experience. I’m bilingual in English and Spanish and always eager to bridge gaps in understanding through thoughtful design. I’m Paul Alders, a freelance e-learning developer and instructional designer based in the Netherlands, working with clients across the globe. I help organizations design and build effective, engaging digital learning using tools like Articulate Storyline and Rise. With over 15 years of experience, I focus on clarity, creativity, and real-world results. My journey into digital learning started in 2009, working as a teacher in vocational education, when I realized how powerful well-designed learning experiences could be. Since then, I’ve worked with clients across industries — including healthcare, education, and internationally operating organizations — creating courses that not only inform, but engage. I believe in starting with the real problem and designing solutions that are simple, human, and effective. I’m proud to be recognized as an Articulate Super Hero, and I actively share and support others in the E-Learning Heroes community.
