Hello!
My name is Samantha Shoner. I'm currently working as a teacher in Japan, but I'm planning on returning to the US next year and have been considering a career change to Instructional Design.
I'm new to this industry, and I still have a lot of questions. I have a degree in Digital Media and 11 years of teaching experience. I hope that will be a good starting point. I don't really know what to expect or what questions to ask, so I welcome any advice you can give me.

By virtue of your life and work experiences, you've got what it takes to have a career in corporate instructional design (the combo of your teaching experience + digital media). For specific insights into eLearning instructional design you can check out Tom K's (Articulate staff) eLearning blog.
