Hi everyone! My name is Ekaterina, and I'm currently based in Vancouver, Canada. I work as a courseware developer in the aviation industry ✈️ (I help create e-learning courses for pilots), which is how I first discovered Articulate Storyline and started using it about three years ago. Since then, I’ve learned a lot through my work projects, but I’ve also become curious to explore more advanced features and creative possibilities. That’s why I joined this community—to keep learning and share what I’ve discovered along the way. My background is in Fine Arts (I hold a BFA in Print Media), and I occasionally teach art classes for kids. I try to bring a strong design element into the courses I create, thinking of them as holistic projects where visuals, UI, and content come together seamlessly. I'm especially interested in gamification, and I've created a few small games in Articulate using different visual styles. On the personal side, my family includes my husband, our three little kids, and two cats: 👨👩👧👦👧🐈🐈223Views2likes9CommentsA Place to Start...
Hi, I’m Amalia LM, based in Arizona. I’ve worked in the E-Learning space at Amazon, focusing on scalable, learner-centered training for a diverse and global audience—primarily within operations. In parallel, I’ve served in parish ministry, supporting Spanish-speaking communities through communication, formation, and outreach. These two paths—corporate learning and ministry—have helped shape how I approach instructional design with empathy, clarity, and cultural awareness. I’m passionate about creating engaging, accessible content and enjoy collaborating across teams to bring structure and meaning to the learning experience. I’m bilingual in English and Spanish and always eager to bridge gaps in understanding through thoughtful design. While I’ve gained experience in content development and learning flow, I still consider myself very much a learner. I’m here to grow in areas like interactive design, visual storytelling, and best practices with tools like Storyline and Rise. I’m grateful to be part of this community and look forward to learning from others while sharing what I can along the way.105Views1like3CommentsHello fr Vietnam
Hi everyone! I hope you’re all doing well in your instructional design careers. I’m new here and excited to be part of this warm and welcoming community. You can call me Harry. I started my journey with Storyline three months ago. Before that, I was mainly a Graphic Designer/Motion Designer. I joined the E-Learning Heroes community because I love sharing JavaScript tips and learning from others. I also have a few feature requests that I’d like to get support for from the Articulate staff. That’s all. Love you guys!83Views2likes1CommentHello!

Hi everyone! 👋 I'm excited to join this community as I transition into the instructional design field. I'm currently finishing my undergrad at UCF and will be starting my Master's in Instructional Design in January. My background is a bit different from the traditional ID; I've been a part of designing educational programs and training "old school" from 2003-2015, more on the curriculum planning side, deciding what topics will be taught, in what order, and selecting tools and support resources. I've never used Articulate software or worked in a formal instructional designer role, so I'm here to learn from all of you! Over the next year+, I'll be observing how experienced designers approach problems and will be asking lots of questions, and soaking up best practices from this community. I'm really interested in understanding how to translate learning goals into project-based, engaging digital learning experiences. I'm really looking forward to learning alongside you all. 😊 Christie Stephenson Saavedra - UCF - Future MS in Instructional Design (Spring 2026)150Views2likes4Comments
