New to ID!
Hi there! I'm Nat, I'm currently attending University of San Diego pursuing a Masters in Instructional Design and Technology. I discovered ID just this year even though I have had so much previous experience in the subject. Discovering ID was such a pivotal moment for me, I instantly realized that this is exactly where my passions and skills lie. I'm super excited and driven to become an Instructional Designer and learn all there is about the field!

So happy to have you here, natalielam! How far into your masters program are you? I'm curious, as you get deeper into instructional design, what are you focussing on in school right now? How much do specific tools like Articulate Storyline or Rise play a part, versus focussing on learning principles?
I'm also noticing that we have two other intros this week from grad students at University of San Diego— eblanke and vmendu. Did this community come up in class? I'm so curious how you all found us at the same time!
