Variables and triggers in Storyline give you a lot of control and flexibility when it comes to creating engaging activities. This example shows how you can easily create your own fill-in-the-blank activity using text entry fields, variables and states.

      Hi Dmitry! Thanks for posting your question. In this example, this activity can be used as an informal knowledge check. If you'd like to create something similar and pass the results to your LMS you can use a Quiz slide or a Freeform-slide.
  • How would you change the 3rd picture to accept "rhino" as well as "rhinoceros"? I've tried adding "and" operators.

      Hi Tim. You can achieve that by adding new triggers for each acceptable answer. In the file for this activity, just copy/paste each trigger that says rhinocerus and replace that word with rhino.
