Version 1.0
  • Shanna and Beth,

I liked this example as well so I experimented with Nicole's design. I was able to change the state of the Wrong answers to say this answer is wrong because. I also made the send button be the Submit. When I experimented I saw that reviewing the quiz kept the response of the state so you can see the answers. I did not expect that to happen. I do not normally use the Review Quiz button but I think it works in this case. This is a link to the Storyline file. This is Storyline 360 so you need that or version 3.

Fully with you on that one.. first thing I did was hit "Send" as one would do.. only after that didn't work I was looking for something else.. spotting the "Submit". Otherwise a very nice looking idea.

Just disable 'Submit' in the Player Default

you could certainly rename that button in the Player Attributes. Player > Text Labels

Oh yes, but I meant the "send" button that is in the phone - just transferring the trigger to submit the drag&drop interaction to that button instead of the "submit" button. That was where my brain told me to click anyway, after dragging the text box in! :D
  • This is awesome! is there a way to have it show what items they got right and what was wrong when they hit submit? I'm guessing something with states???

I would love to know the steps or have a tutorial that explains the answer to Shanna's question!

I absolutely love this! I have been able to edit it to use it for one of my courses, however I cannot get rid of the background at all. Any ideas? Thank you!

Aimee, you have to scroll down the timeline and unlock the Background, then you can delete it and replace it.
  • Really great stuff! Thank you for sharing and for the modification to explain a wrong answer. So helpful!
