This fully customizable avatar set was made using shapes in Storyline 360 and icons from Content Library 360. Download this file to change the colors and edit the characters.
Enjoy!

These are great Sarah! Thanks for sharing. When you say you updated the file so it would work with 3, what did you do? (I have 360, but do have some people with 3. This would help if I send them files they can't download or open for some reason).
Thanks, Trey! Great question. Storyline 360 projects can be opened and edited with Storyline 3 except when they include new features that exist only in Storyline 360. My previous story file was using a feature (behind the scenes) that wasn’t available to Storyline 3 users. Since my project only included basic shapes and icons, I was able to import my avatar slide into a new project that didn’t use that feature so it was available to both Storyline 360 and Storyline 3 users.
Ahh - That makes sense. I guess we just haven't run into it here, or I've been more careful than I thought working with co-workers who are on 3.
Thanks for the repsone!
I'm so sorry Lynn and Jeannie! What happens when you try to download it? I’m able to download it on my end. Do you get an error message? If so, can you post a screenshot of it? Any further detail you could provide would help me figure out what's going on! Thank you!
I’m so sorry to bother you with this. After I posted, I realized that Chrome had updated and was spinning and not letting me download anything. I just tried again and it works fine. Thank you!!!!
Jeannie
Hey Sarah!
This is amazing! Thank you for sharing this!
I'm thinking about using this and customizing it to make a customizable avatar creation slide.
Do you think there's a way for users to download the result as an avatar? I'm trying to figure that out but haven't found anything yet.
Hi everyone! Thanks for all the kind words! I recently created a customizable set of characters with disabilities using the avatars in this download. You can download it for free here: https://community.articulate.com/download/storyline-customizable-characters-with-disabilities
Hi! I'm a newbie at this so I'm looking for some support. :-)
I downloaded this and I opened it in Storyline. I want to add one of the avatars to my slide, but it makes me take it shape by shape. Is there a way to group all the shapes of an avatar so I can move them all at once? Thanks!
Hi Taylor and welcome! Sorry for the late response! You can totally select all the shapes for a certain character and group them to paste to another slide. I personally like to use the mouse and click away from all the objects, hold it down, and drag it across all the objects I want to select. With all the objects selected, I click CTRL+G to group them and CTRL+V to paste the group to a different slide. For the harder to reach characters (in the middle) I copy and paste multiple characters, paste them on a slide, and delete the ones I don't need. Here's a video showing what that looks like: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1mxWumH0PFO6BEMnVLRtnhX9RjqVtgS3l/view
Hi Nicole! Just wanted to pop-in and let you know that Content Library 360 characters depicting people who are differently abled is a need we're tracking and considering. I've gone ahead an added your name to our existing feature request so we can bring you up to date when we have something more concrete to share.
