Hi Richard, thanks for sharing. I am pretty new at articulate and am creating a similar project. (Wish I would have found your download a week ago!) Sorry for the probably glaringly easy question. But I can't figure out how you programmed the game so the users can only choose 2 squares at a time. I don't understand how the lower case variables come into play, so I don't know if that's the answer. Any help is appreciated!

Hi Richard, sincere thanks for sharing this as it cut my dev time dramatically and really given me a jump into Storyline after working with Captivate for years. One challenge I am having, I've been trying to figure out a way to reset the selected items after an incorrect selection. If I select A1 and then B1, they are not a match and they remain till I make another selection. I now know A1 and A3 are a match but I cannot reselect A1 as it is still visable. I can select A3 which clears the previous selection and then select A1 so mechanisims other then a clear work. I'm sure there is more then one way to do this, I thought about using a timer to reset but I'm new to Storyline. Any suggestion on best way to reset just the incorrect selections prior to going after another pair? Any help would be most appreciated!

Hi Richard! I love this and have adapted for something I'm getting out to our team but I've run into a problem I haven't been able to figure out. I want to deploy a module where the matching game is done first, followed by info slides on the course subject, and then the learner has a chance to repeat the matching game. I have the game slide done but when I copy it to the end of the module or import it to the module, the second pass at the matching game immediately checkmarks both the box that is clicked and its match. Any tips on what I'm doing wrong?

I would guess it's a variable/sates not being reset. If you look at the layer called "Third click" this is where I reset all the variables and states.

Hello Richard, thank you very much for sharing. I am pretty novice and I have to see how things work. However, I try to integrate this game but I get always an error when trying to publish. Moreover, I cannot see the elements (excepting the frames) even if I can see them in the timeline. Can you imagine what is going on?

Probably not the best example if you are new to Storyline. What is the error and what version are you running?

Hi Richard, I actually referred to your package and implicated the working, but i m facing two problems. One, the hint works but the assets are not getting reset and two Hint 2 is not subtracting 10 points from the total. Could you help. i can send u the package if needed...

This was meant as a sample where people can use and customizes and the hint 2 does seem to work but again I haven't done any exhaustive testing. If I had to do this over again I would make many changes.
