Thanks guys :)
Shan - The timer is simply a series of text boxes (00:10, 00:09, 00:08 etc) which is synced up to the timeline and a trigger is used to show a layer once the timeline ends i.e. when the timer hits 00:00.
No there's not David. You have to manually create a set of text boxes with the numbers, give them a duration of 1 sec and have them play one after the other.
Wow that's a great strait forward approach for a timer. I would have probably tried to do it in JavaScript first. Over all great job, opens my mind to other ideas!
Thanks Joshua, I find JS quite complicated to do on Storyline but that would have definitely been the smart way of doing it. Thanks for the compliment :)
Great work! I love both the concept and design. I think it's a very creative use of the tool's features. How long did it take you from conception through development?
Great job Phil! Love your work. How did you design the objects on screen, did you use any other graphic application? Did you animate all moving objects within Storyline 2 motion path?
Thanks Ayan! Most of the objects were edited with Illustrator. I didn't use any motion paths for this. I simply had the objects animate from a direction.
Hi Phil!
love this game, I'm really interested in how you made the sliding scale / barometer on each page? I wondered about branching, but then realised by question 10 you'd have like 400+ outcomes! :)
Can you shed some light on how you did this?
Love the games, its a really creative use of storyline.
