Jackie, This is Awesome I have some complex forms that I will need to create and build and this is giving me some awesome inspiration! You did a great job and made it look very easy to complete.
Great Job
Thank you so much, Freddy! That's great if it inspires you as you work on your own forms. I think anything you can do to keep it simple while adding meaningful context and motivation will help make it more effective.
Best of luck on your project!
Thank you, Kristin - that's great to hear!
Have fun with your documentation practices course! My guess is you'll have a few surprises in store for them. :)
Spectacular example - I always know I can count on your design wisdom! I just started a project to explain looooong forms to field agents. An extra challenge is that they need the information but training is not obligatory. Is your template available?
Hi Jackie, do you have this available as a download? I'd like to see how you built things. I've got a very similar need in a Health Care Authority with many forms that have to be filled out by a wide variety of people when charting patient/client notes.
What you've done is VERY slick and clean looking and I would love to incorporate the model architecture into our training.
Hi Allain!
Thanks so much for your wonderful comments! No download for this one, but other freebies of mine are available in the Freebies section of my site and in the downloads section here on E-Learning Heroes.
What a great piece of work. I love the story element and the sound effects/music.
Thanks for sharing.
Where would you recommend uploading content so that others can view your efforts? My content is currently stored locally but I am always looking for feedback.
Thank you so much, Sean!
I always recommend having control over your own server space so you can upload and share your work. Most designers tend to have their own websites (with paid hosting) and share their portfolios there - which is what I do on mine: http://www.jackievannice.com. I hope that helps!
Hi Ryan, sorry it isn't my piece. I sent a note to Jackie asking the same thing but no response back yet, she may be a way. If I hear anything i will pass it on.
This is just fabulous. The character is unique, too - do you have a special source for characters? Her hair and outfit is not the same-old office 'do' and attire - it's perfect for the theme!
~ Donna
Thanks so much, Donna! No - no special source for characters - I'm sure I got her from one of the two main cut-out character resources many elearning folks subscribe to. :)
Hi Jackie, I know this is an old demo but I was hoping you could describe how you created the highlight boxes. Did you create these in Photoshop or directly in Storyline. I would love to do something similar for a course I'm building on completing an assessment form. Many thanks,
