Quiz not allowing student to select answer choice in quiz
Hello folks, I'm hoping someone has had a similar situation and been able to find a solution. I have quizzes that contain multiple choice questions. There have been reports from students that are sometimes unable to select an answer choice. The blue highlight bar that normally appears while hovering over an answer choice does not appear and when clicking on an answer choice it is not selected (i.e. the radio button does not show that it has been selected). Interestingly everything else that can be clicked in the quiz works, including the volume slider, previous and next buttons, and the question list dropdown menu. The quizzes are delivered via an LMS and are published in QM'13 using SCORM 2004, 4th ed. I don't believe the problem to be a browser issue as I've switched browsers and the same problem occurs. What's makes this even more difficult to solve is that it only happens intermittently. Most students are able to get through the same quizzes with no problems. Any ideas? Would you lean towards this problem being caused by the LMS or a glitch in QM'13? Thanks for any feedback any of you might be able to provide. Best, StevenQuiz Format and Importing
I did a search on Quiz Importing and Formats and only see questions from years ago. I have a client with a large number of quiz questions. The questions are repeated based on the participant's language. All translations are done so I just need to connect the each language link to the content followed by the quiz. I am using an excel spreadsheet for quizzes I found on a search. https://community.articulate.com/discussions/articulate-storyline/updated-storyline-360-quiz-template-for-excel While this spreadsheet works, all of the questions need to be formatted to fit on the slide. The Title is a 64 font and does not wrap and the questions are much smaller. I also don't like the spacing from the radio button to the question. When I import the spreadsheet into Quiz Maker, the format is great, but it defaults to the Classic layout and Feedback Master. That means I would have to change every quiz slide to Modern AND every Correct/Incorrect layer. WAAAAY too much work. Quiz Maker does not allow me to change the layer only the slide and I have to do it slide by slide. When I open Quiz Maker, it tells me there is one slide that is Classic but where is that slide? Why is there not a feature in Quiz Maker to Apply Layout as there is in the Storyline ribbon? I should be able to select the player for Quiz Maker as well not have it default to Classic. Is there a way to control the format of quiz questions that would work for the entire project? I don't want to have to work with 50 questions seven times! Any help would be appreciated! Hi everyone, I was developing a quiz last week and using a nice template in the newest version of quizmaker. I noticed that there are only templates for multiple choice questions, where there is only one right answer. I have started developing my quiz using a certain template, but need that same template for multiple response questions (most of my questions are multiple response). I looked in the templates but couldn't find any, I also couldn't find any online. Have I missed them? Are they there? Or, can anyone help? Its a reasonably time consuming task to modify a 'blank' canvas to match a template. If that is the answer, can anyone suggest a short way of doing this? I create lots of graded questions that are sequence drag and drop and matching questions. I'd really like to decrease the font size on the answer options. -- the answer and question options that get matched up or placed into sequence. It would be nice to have more question options listed on the screen without having to scroll. And, when the font size of the actual answers is larger than the question itself, it looks funny. I have not been able to locate a way in the the Form View or the Slide View to change the font size of answers. It seems that once the answers are entered in the Form View that it becomes an uneditable text book. Is there a way to change the font size of answer options? I am wondering if it is possible to add more than 10 possible Options/Answers to the Survey: Pick One Question. I have to have 13 possibilities. I know how to code (kind of well) so if it is something I can add after its published (sorry to say I haven't looked at that yet) then that could be a possibility. I am an ICT teacher at a school, and have created a solution to save all results to a database automatically after the quiz. I am using a MS SQL Server database, but it could easily be adapted to a MS Access or other database. We have already taken hundreds of tests, and all results are stored, up to individual answers. The web interface enables you to download results per quiz, per student or per class in CSV format. All source code is open sourced, and downloadable on http://code.google.com/p/quizbaker/ I am hoping for collaboration from many of you to improve the software. Email me if you like to cooperate on the project. I have looked at joep's original solution in .NET and have created my own in classic ASP. Dear Heroes, I sure hope someone can help me with this. We are having a problem with our learning management system (SuccessFactors) reporting results on quizzes in e-learnings. The problem is this: if a user fails a quiz, we the report with individual question responses comes up empty, although the completion report will come up as complete. Only if they pass the quiz, can we get results on how they responded to each question. We could set the pass rate at 0%, but that will mess up the results screen as well as our other reports. Please tell me someone has solved this problem and that it is just a settings issue. For reference, these are some of my applicable settings: authoring tool: QuizMaker Exported as: SCORM 2004, version 4 Pass rate 80% Reporting status to LMS as: passed/failed Thanks in advance!
