I am currently in a project where I need to use a male voice, sadly the AI voice I usually use, Sam, has been removed from the library, so I found a new one: Max - New Zealand Conversational. I recorded the first section of Audio I needed a couple of days ago and it was great, exactly what I was looking for. However, today when I tried to use Max again he has an American accent. Why would this happen? I find that a lot of the NZ accents sound American in V3, but why would it work in V3 a couple of days ago and not today? V2 just doesn't sound as natural and I hate an obviously AI voice. I have tried it in the same project and also in a new project, selecting Max again from the library, but I cant get him to not sound American. Any ideas? Ill attach an audio clip of a snippet of the recording from a couple of days ago and the same segment recorded today.Images Showing as Red X When Importing into Existing Storyline Projects – Issue Since July 28, 2026
Hi everyone, I’m experiencing an issue with Articulate Storyline that appears to have started with the July 28, 2026 version and continues in later versions. When importing content from a Story (.story) or Story Template (.storytemplate) file into an existing/ongoing Storyline project, some images are not displayed correctly. Instead, they appear as a red X / missing image placeholder. What I’ve found so far: The issue occurs when importing a Story or Story Template into an existing Storyline project. The same file can be imported successfully into a new, blank Storyline project, with the images displaying correctly. Only some images are affected; other images import normally. The affected images appear as a red X and cannot be displayed. The issue was not present in an earlier Storyline version. The problem appears to have started from the July 28, 2026 version onward. Creating a new scene or blank slide within the existing project does not resolve the issue. Inserting the image directly into the existing project is still possible; the problem specifically occurs with the imported content. Has anyone else encountered this issue in Storyline versions released from July 28, 2026 onward? Could this be related to a change in how Storyline handles or references image assets when importing Stories or Story Templates into an existing project? Is there a known workaround or fix? Any advice or confirmation that others are experiencing the same issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!20Views0likes1CommentStoryline Progress Bar Animation - Looking for Ideas
I'm building a Storyline 360 course and have a progress bar on each slide. The filled portion of the bar animates in using a Wipe entrance animation to show progress advancing as learners move through the course. The effect works, but I'm not completely happy with it. The animation doesn't feel as smooth as I'd like, and the circular "knob" at the end of the progress bar briefly disappears when the slide loads before reappearing as the animation completes. I'm curious how others have handled this type of interaction. How are you building animated progress bars in Storyline? Is there a cleaner or more polished approach you've found? How do you keep the end marker/knob visible while still showing progress animation? Any examples or best practices you'd recommend? I'd love to hear how other developers have tackled this. Attached is an example of my progress bar. Thanks!71Views0likes6CommentsMedia Manager - Modified
Hello, I have been using Articulate 360 for about a year now and I have seen this issue consistently throughout my usage. When I go to the media manager in Storyline 360, I see the options to order the files by the headers such as Duration, Size, etc., but the Modified column does not order them correctly, it just orders them by the name again. All the other header options work when ordering by their column, just not the Modified one. I attached an example screenshot where I tried to order the Modified column and it is not working as expected.26Views1like1CommentKeyboard Shortcut for TTS?
Hello Heroes, Can anyone tell me the secret of getting the TTS function as a keyboard shortcut? Or Add to the Quick Access Toolbar? Alt-8 is the shortcut for Insert Audio from File, because it's the first choice in the dropdown menu. But what about the underline under the letter S in Text-to-Speech? Isn't that also supposed to be helpful for keyboard shortcuts? Thanks Katie20Views0likes2CommentsHow to continue the seekbar for additional layers also not just for the base layer?
the seekbar completes with the base layer and for the other layers there is no seekbar. just the completed seekbar. This can be misleading for the users because when you try to drag the seekbar back it will play the base layer along with the other layer.Solved91Views0likes6CommentsHow can I train my stakeholders on reviewing Rise courses correctly?
When some of my stakeholders leave comments on the review section in a Rise course, several reviews often appear in the same block. This causes total confusion for me and an ID. Can anyone point me to a resource on how to correctly review Rise blocks?Solved80Views0likes4CommentsArticulate Storyline Publishing to Review - 'Something Went Wrong' Error Message
I've been attempting to publish to review an Articulate Storyline containing several MP4 files. Unfortunately, when I go to publish to review I get this pop up notification. I suspected that this was occurring because the MP4 file was originally stored on my personal drive before being imported into Storyline but had then been deleted. However, when I try to delete the videos and reimport them from SharePoint (where they will not be moved, renamed or deleted), I still receive this error message. My colleagues who have their own Articulate licenses are however able to publish to review my Storyline file once, but when they go to do it a second time they also receive the same error message. Has anyone come across this before and how did they fix it? So far I have tried the following troubleshooting but with no luck: Ensuring the blank Storyline file is automatically saved to SharePoint and never lives on a local drive Importing MP4 files from a shared space rather than a local drive Opening the Storyline file through both SharePoint online & SharePoint via files navigation53Views0likes3CommentsThis course is owned by Learning Services
I would like to request ownership of the developed e-learning material that my team and I have created. The employee who originally developed the material no longer has access, and I currently only have editor rights. As a result, I am unable to share the material with course participants. Could you please advise on how I can be assigned as the owner? Kind regards, Agrpm41Views0likes1Comment
