content library 360
15 TopicsAbility to Copy/Move Microlearnings to Courses
In Articulate 360, it’s possible to copy or move a lesson from one course to another, but there’s no equivalent capability for microlearning content. 🙄 Instead, users are forced to rebuild microlearning content as block templates every time they need to reuse it in a course, which is both inefficient and unnecessarily time-consuming. 🤬 This gap creates avoidable friction in what should be a straightforward workflow. Enabling the ability to copy or move microlearning content into courses would be a simple but high-impact improvement that would remove a lot of frustration and redundancy. Rather than focusing heavily on AI features, it would be great to see attention given to strengthening these core content management capabilities that directly affect day-to-day productivity. I am sure I am not the first person to share this feedback. Thanks for your time and consideration! 🙂24Views0likes1CommentFavorite in Articulate Content Library 360
It would be amazing if we could favorite content from the Content Library 360, which would be accessible based on your account, not the project, so it's easier to find and use on future projects. Preferably without having to download the content and take up memory on my computer.31Views0likes1CommentEvery Template set needs a Blank Slide
I primarily use Storyline to create interactive trainings of our electronic health record. This involves full-screen screen recordings of the EHR. When inserting a screen recording, the captions come in a bland default color, and the standard color palette options are fine, but use of the Content Library 360 template color palettes are so much better. To expand the color palette options, I insert an opening title slide before my screen recorded slides start. Then, I select all of my screen recorded slides at once, Apply Layout, and select "Blank Slide" from the template set I selected from Content Library 360. This changes all the captions on my screen recorded slides to match the color palette on the template set, and gives me the same palette for any other object/shape I choose to insert on those slides. LOVE THIS! However, not all template sets in Content Library 360 have Blank Slide options. Example: "Opportunity" from Content Library 360 doesn't have a Blank Slide, so I have to select one of the most minimal options like "Top Title" or "Center Title" in order to get the palette options throughout. This creates a lot of extra work because all the title text fields have to be deleted from each individual slide, which wouldn't have to be done if the template set had a "Blank Slide" option to select from".45Views0likes0CommentsStoryline Characters pared with Voices
It would be great if the character models could record their own voices, so if an eLearning Developer chooses that character, they could also use their voice. For instance, if the developer chooses Atsumi it can be pared with Atsumi's actual voice.288Views1like3CommentsUsing multiple AI images from Articulate to generate a composition
Greetings, as much as I don't want to reignite a debate over AI usage and such, I would like to suggest the following idea: Generating AI images... using Storyline's own AI-generated images I don't know if files, generated with Storyline's own system have a specific code attached to it, but it would be nice to, say, merge two images together. For example... First, I generate the image of the interior of a restaurant. Then, I generate the image of a waitress. Finally, I generate another image, with the waitress inserted in the restaurant, using the previous two images I've generated, likely keeping any artistic features I've prompted. It would be like "first creating the puzzle pieces" and then "assembling them". Now, I wish to be limited to "only imnages generated by Articulate", because licenses and copyrights can be a HUGE problem if anyone can take random pictures from the internet, merge them together and call them their own. That's why I asked if AI-generated images have specific coding behind it to mark them as "Articulate assets". Thanks in advance :)177Views0likes1Comment💡 Feature Idea: Enable Dynamic or Linked Image References in Storyline 360 (Similar to Captivate)
Hi Articulate Team and Community, I’d like to share a feature idea that could make media management much more efficient for developers working on large or frequently updated Storyline projects. Scenario: In many projects, we utilize screenshots and visual assets that are updated regularly — for example, UI captures for software simulations or interface updates. Currently, when these assets change, we must manually replace each image in Storyline or use the Media Library to replace files one by one. Feature Request: It would be incredibly useful if Storyline could link images (and other media) to an external folder or repository, so that when an image file in that folder is updated (and the filename remains the same), it automatically updates inside the Storyline project. This kind of “dynamic asset linking” or “live reference” is already supported in some authoring tools like Adobe Captivate, where media can be linked rather than embedded — allowing updates to flow into the project automatically. Implementing this in Storyline would: Greatly reduce repetitive media replacement work. Ensure consistency across modules. Improve workflows for teams using shared design systems or asset libraries. Even a toggle or advanced option like “Link to file instead of embed” when inserting media would be a game-changer! Would love to hear what the Articulate team and community think about this. Thanks, Shashi G123Views0likes1CommentCentralized Team Media Library for All Articulate Projects
I wanted to float an idea that I think could really streamline our workflow and improve consistency across our eLearning projects: a shared, customizable internal media library for all Articulate projects. Right now, internal media assets are uploaded and stored on a per-course basis. Wouldn't it be great if we had a global repository where the team could upload media, categorized, add alt text, and reused across any Articulate course? This would not only save time but also help maintain visual consistency and branding across our learning content. Curious to hear what others think or if something similar to this already exists and I am just not aware of it. Thanks!109Views1like1CommentPersonalized Audio Feedback in Storyline
Today I tackled a unique challenge in Articulate Storyline: creating a multiple choice question with five answer options, each triggering distinct audio feedback based on the learner’s selection. 🔊 Why audio feedback? Because learning is more impactful when it feels personal. Instead of generic “Correct” or “Try Again” messages, each response now delivers tailored guidance—reinforcing the right answer and constructively addressing misconceptions. 🛠️ How I did it: Created custom feedback layers for each option Imported and assigned unique audio files Used conditional triggers to play the right audio when learners click Submit Disabled default feedback to keep the experience clean and focused ✨ Result: A more immersive, learner-centered experience that supports retention and engagement.35Views0likes0CommentsContent Library Search Bar
With the recent updates, the content library's search bar is in the scrolling part of the window. Before, the search bar was stationary and visible no matter how far you scrolled down. Unfortunately with the recent release, you have to scroll all the way back to the top to get back to the search bar, which is very annoying. Please switch it back so we can change search terms without having to scroll all the way back up to the top.118Views0likes1Comment
