AI Image, Media, Prompt Library/History

Hi,

I am relatively new to the e-learning/Articulate world and I haven't used Articulate as much as many others in this community. However, one of the things that I think could be a valuable asset to the AI assistant would be a library of any previously generated images or prompts. This would be valuable in a few settings that I thought of.

  • Maintaining a certain image style throughout the course.
  • Revising of other AI generated images/audio that has been added and then deleted from the course to be able to pick up where I left off with the prompt.
  • Referencing previously well developed prompts that I would like to use again.

Having the library or a history of my prompts would be valuable to help the forward momentum of the project instead of constantly starting over in the AI prompt. I understand I can simply save the images or prompts to a local drive or cloud storage. However, often times I forget or don't think to save them in the moment. I believe having this built into Articulate would make the usage more intuitive and user friendly.

    Thanks for sharing this! I can see how having access to previous AI prompts and generated media could help you keep your momentum going instead of having to recreate earlier work.

    I’d love to learn a little more about how you’d use this:

    • Of the examples you mentioned, which would help your workflow most: reusing prompts, recovering generated media, or keeping images visually consistent?
    • How often do you find yourself having to recreate something you generated earlier?
    • When you return to previous AI-generated content, would it be most helpful to have the original prompt, the generated versions, or both?

      Hello Luciana,

      Thank you for taking time to respond to my suggestion! Here are some answers to your questions.

      • Of the examples you mentioned, which would help your workflow most: reusing prompts, recovering generated media, or keeping images visually consistent?
        • The most helpful probably be recovering generated media. That would resolve the issue for reusing prompts and then the generated media can be used to create visually consistent graphics. 
      • How often do you find yourself having to recreate something you generated earlier?
        • Fairly regularly because I may change my mind on how I want to build something and then need to revert back or a variation of the image later in the course.
      • When you return to previous AI-generated content, would it be most helpful to have the original prompt, the generated versions, or both?
        • Both would be ideal!

    I'm an AI integrator on an innovation team, so we live this problem daily. Until the feature exists, a shared prompt journal is the workaround that actually works for us: every good prompt goes in a doc with the exact wording, the style keywords, and a thumbnail of the result. For keeping images visually consistent, lock down a short set of style descriptors and reuse them verbatim across images instead of rewriting the prompt each time — and generate at the same aspect ratio every time. It's low-tech, but it keeps a course coherent, and you'll thank yourself when you need to revise an image six months later.
