Until the feature exists, a shared prompt journal is the workaround that actually works for us: every good prompt goes in a doc with the exact wording, the style keywords, and a thumbnail of the result. For keeping images visually consistent, lock down a short set of style descriptors and reuse them verbatim across images instead of rewriting the prompt each time — and generate at the same aspect ratio every time. It's low-tech, but it keeps a course coherent, and you'll thank yourself when you need to revise an image six months later.
