Connected Packages Best Practices
I've recently started using connected packages (beta) on a project I'm working on. We are a SaaS company with frequent changes in our software, and therefore our courses. The ability to publish the course to the LMS via a connected package without having to replace the SCORM file is huge for us (so that in-progress learners won't lose their bookmark!) and maintenance-critical. I was having a problem with a survey block recording this week, and found a bug that if a survey block is used, it will not record results in the LMS and was told to go back to the old-fashioned way and just replace SCORM files rather than using connected packages, and connected packages are in beta and are experimental, and it is not recommended to use them in training delivered to users. Disappointing. Anyway, I will turn off connected packages, but what is the best practice if this goes live and we can turn this on eventually and use the feature? I will have a SCORM file uploaded to the LMS, turn on the connected package feature (unless it goes away) when it is ready, and hope for the best? Hi Everyone, Question...we do an Annual Education push for all our staff; and as it contains the yearly compliance courses, etc., it is a very long course. We have already broken it into chunks using Rise, but it still runs as one long course. The issue we are having is in our LMS - which has never been known to do bookmarks right when users need to stop and start. And users are finding when they need to leave the course and then return, they need to go thru the entire course again, as the LMS didn't bookmark. In addition, the course has just one place where it has users branch off based on their job titles. Our LMS will let us know larger courses (we use Oracle, so they're called Specializations) where several courses make up the Specialization, but again, with that branching scenario, it makes it touch to create separate courses to fit neatly into a Specialization. Anyone else do courses that branch and would otherwise be very long if you didn't use the approach you've learned to use? If so, can you share? Thanks so much!LMS/Workday Integration
Hello, I’m developing a visual orientation tracker and wanted to see if anyone has experience with a similar project or integration. The goal is for the tracker to automatically reflect a learner’s progress. For example, when a learner completes specified courses in Workday Learning, we would like those milestones to automatically display as completed within the tracker rather than requiring the learner or an administrator to manually update them. Does anyone know whether it’s possible for a custom SCORM/Articulate Storyline learning object to retrieve a learner’s Workday Learning records and completion status for a defined set of Learning Content IDs? If not directly from Storyline, has anyone implemented a similar solution using Workday APIs, integrations, or another approach? If successful, we’d eventually like to explore similar functionality with other learning platforms such as Kahuna and Lippincott. Do you have any way of providing feedback to your learners? If so, how do you think about scaling it? Hey all! I recently had a coffee chat with JulieDirksen and she said something that got me thinking (well, she said a lot of things that got me thinking but this was one I wanted to share!). She was talking about how for a long time, feedback was one of the last things in learning that you couldn't scale. But, she noted that with AI that is now changing—it's now more possible to scale the experience of receiving feedback on your work. As a community professional, scaling feedback is something I've long thought about doing via nominating experts from the community to help spread the expertise of an "instructor" beyond one single person—I'm actually going to be giving a session at Articuland next week in Orlando that touches on this! Hello Articulate Community, We are optimizing background listener stability and remote webhook payload handling when sync-ing external LMS asset data into automated sales and learning management workflows. Technical Setup: Our integration architecture at Frontline Sales Consultancy (flsc.co.uk) triggers automated B2B notifications and REST API syncs over HTTPS (TLS 1.3). The Issue We're Facing: Under heavy concurrent load spikes, background POST webhook listener sockets occasionally report HTTP 504 gateway timeout responses before acknowledging payload completion. Direct REST API requests to the same remote host resolve normally under 150ms thresholds. Are there recommended network socket keep-alive settings or queue worker retries to prevent connection drops during high-volume data syncs? Any advice on managing asynchronous background worker threads would be appreciated! Thanks!Something big is coming

Hi everyone, I'm creating videos in Adobe Premiere Pro for use in Articulate Storyline and would appreciate some advice on best practices. Currently, I'm exporting videos at 960 × 540 px, which seems to match the size of the video area in my course. However, I'd like to ensure I'm getting the best possible quality while keeping file sizes reasonable. My questions are: Is 960 × 540 px still the recommended export resolution for Storyline? What export settings in Premiere Pro have you found work best for Storyline projects? Are there any best practices for maximizing video quality and avoiding blurry text, graphics, or screen recordings after publishing? Eleven of them, all completely free, no signup, no accounts, nothing to install. They run entirely in your browser.
